Looking good so far. :D

Can we get some close-ups so we can see how they have it mounted?

ThunderbirdJunkie is not too sure about the multi-piece top plate, but driving a BDS lifted KJ is definitely not punishing.

The BDS we installed had a 1 piece top strut plate, or 5 piece if you include the 4 bolts.
Cobalt, that was the second one I did, 1st one was an OME spring replacement of rustys worn out ones... the BDS kit looked like a decent kit. Mounted almost identical to the OME springs I installed.

Which BDS shocks did you chose, Hydraulic or Gas?

I too would like to see a side level poser shot.

The fact that it uses carriage bolts instead of pressed in studs is what bothers ThunderbirdJunkie

Looking good man! I've been trying to start saving for a lift for a year or so now and arguing with myself and everyone about what one to get, the franky is what I really want but there is a local shop that is very close with BDS, so they can get me hooked up and would be there if something goes wrong so that is a definite plus. The bds lift is only front shocks right? did you get new struts?

When we did Sperbs in the Ohio section, his came with front springs, top plates, rear springs, and rear shocks. I think he only had to purchase front struts and bumpstops.

Sorry this took so long, here is a somewhat level shot. I think you can get the idea of how much lift BDS produces. I am really enjoying it so far.

How much lift did you gain out of the front? What are you running from center hub to bottom flare?
