well i ran over a stick today while backing out of my driveway and part of it came up and disconnected the shifter linkage. well so i popped that back on and noticed that it also smashed a sensor that is right next to it. when i got back in the jeep i checked the CEL and got a code P0700....Transmission Control System. is that covered under the powertrain warranty? it just pisses me off because i was in my driveway and not even doing anything fun when it happened! |

No, they won't cover that. it's physical damage. Warranty won't cover it if you wreck your Jeep either. |

Get under there and see what the heck that stick did. You should be able to see the sensor/connector and the damage that it did. |
