I really need new upper's I've worn out my second set of stockers and want to get ones that are made for the lift but I'm not sure about the difference between the JBA and RRO uppers. Has anyone had any problems with either?

From what I know, nobody on this board has had enough faith in RRO to even try to purchase let alone evaluate their arms. Several threads on this subject have come up over the past couple of months.

here we go again......

there have been problems/failures w/ the JBA arms over time and several improvements made to them. It is a sore subject to some and the discussion usually ends in a thread lock.

Do a search to find old threads where folks said they were going to go for it and run the RRO arms. Shoot them a PM to see if they ever did and maybe we can get an update on them if so. Personally I wouldn't waste my time w/ RRO but I have no personal experience w/ their arms.

Yeah I've seen a couple of posts but I was hoping someone has had some of the RRO's. I kinda like that they have greased bushings instead of stock type rubber bushings. The set of uppers I've got now the bushings started going out before the ball joints, so I'm figuring the greased bushings will last longer and with the Moog ball joints, the ball joint itself is technically the same. Just my thoughts.

Any other thoughts from others will still be helpful.

I think JBA may have just come out with the 5.5 Arms, replacing the 4.5s. Supposed to be really nice, but more $$ than RRO. I'd like to see a side by side comparison of the RRO to the 5.5s. The RRO looks pretty nice and the price is good too.

Don't see it on the website, do you know when its suppose to come out?? Was planning on getting the Gen 4.5, but may hold out until the Gen 5.5 comes out...

Could be a KK thing??? I know Boblemoche and Digger both have 5.5. arms. It supposedly prevents arm contact with the upper pocket now.
