Post subject:  1"-1.5" Lift Suggestions / Help

My wife's 02 Liberty Sport is sitting on it's stock suspension and it's time to change it out since it is sagging bad. I had already purchased Rancho RSX 17505's to change out her struts, but I explained there is no point in re-using her sagging coils. I also explained that since we are going to change out the coils, we may as well lift it at the same time.

She doesn't want to lift it as much as mine, but she is OK with going 1"-1.5" in lift.

So my plan thus far is to install the Rancho front struts along with a spare set of new skyjacker rear shocks I have kicking around. As for coils I am thinking OME MD coils instead of the HD's, but I am open to any other suggestions keeping in mind the target lift is only 1"-1.5".

Should I go with the OME MD's?, or do you guys suggest something else?

I wonder how much lift you could get from stock CRD springs

ThunderbirdJunkie recommends going with OME medium duty springs.

I had the OME MED springs and had right at 1.5in of lift. Ended up going with rustys coils to get a full 3in of lift.

So does that mean a OME HD spring set will give 2". Is that correct?

In that area, yes. Maybe a little more depending on if you have a bumper, winch, etc.
