Any ideas why the tire pressure sensor monitor prices have gone up so much? I ordered some for a new set of Moabs, and got a note back that the sensor has been superseded by part# 68001696AB - for over $10 more each, well over 33% inflation. Any reason for this or are we just paying for Mopar's bailout.

Partially because Mopar's new part is also designed to be backwards compatible with older models, plus it's usable in the 08-9 (and '10) models

the old PN was only good for 02-07 ITBJRC

The sensors changed after 2004. So if you have sensors in an 03 or 04 they are different than the sensors in 05 and up libertys. As far as I know they have not changed again after 2005.

As far as I know you cannot use 05+ sensors in a 03-04 liberty. Ive tried it and couldnt get it to work.
