Will the Detroit-EZ-Locker work on my KJ Renegade CRD IFS?

I will be a lot cheaper to fit one if it works up front than to convert to a SFA to have a locker fitted.

I am sofar happy with the LSD at the back and only need the extra traction for the front wheels.

My local 4x4 outlet said I cant fit an air locker to the front as it will twist off the side shafts.

would this also apply?

Future: (1) LSD front. (2) Locker rear. (3) If possible Rubicon transfercase.

When the engine fails a 4.0l V8 smallblock.

Get a Detroit Truetrac. Works great in the KJ.

I have a DTT up front and I know that USAFCOP has an ARB air locker up front. Has your shop worked on many KJs?

they generalize in Off road vehicles. I don't know if they specifically worked on KJ's before.

For an ARB air locker for the rear I was quoted R16000 including fitment. (± $2000).

The EZ locker goes for about R4000 ($500) and I can fit it myself.

It makes sence to me.

And I do drive acceptable for the mechanical locker specs as I gave up turbo'd cars for Jeepin'.

I and many others on this board have ARB air lockers front and back.

I have the DTT in the front and dont have any problems with it and I also have the DL in the rear and love it.

Do not put a auto locker in the front of the KJ,bye-bye front diff.Use a LSD(like the DTT) or a selectable locker(ARB) since the KJ does not have manual locking front hubs(none offered either). It's stated on the Aussie web site do not use there autolocker(just like the Detroit EZ locker) in the alloy front diff of the KJ.
