I currently have the DayStar 2.5" lift on my "05" CRD Limited. I am getting ready to replace that with the OME front struts and springs. Will the ride height be the same as I currently have? I do not want it any lower...

whats the measurement from center of your hub to the lip of the fender flare

with a little bit in the clevis, it should come out the same or higher

I'm guessing it'll be higher. :) OME is a great lift, so good call on that one.

Could I use the Rusty's spacer strut plates instead of the clevis spacers? They are suppose to add just under 1/2" of lift. It would be a cleaner look.

a cleaner look?

you can't see the clevis with the tire on anyway

i'll let someone who runs or has ran those particular strut spacers speak on that part though

Mine has a the gasser Frankenlift spacer on the CRD Frankenlift and after settling sits at 22 inches in the front from the hub to the fender flares. Measure yours and figure that you don't have the spacer... it may be the same, maybe a tad lower. If it is lower, you can always add a clevis or spacer. Remember to watch the driver's side boot during install and at full droop (you don't want it rubbing the cv boot).

Worse comes to worse, you can put a limiting strap on it to stop it from biting.

my 927HD's and 17505's with 3 conduit nuts of space in the clevis settled at 22.5 just for reference

Yes you can use that in addition to the OME's. I am using one with my Daystar lift. Then I added 3/8" clevis lift too.

With regard to the Rusty's spacer.....

For the front on my Liberty Sport 4cy I used the OME 927HD, Rancho 17505 and one Rusty's top plate* each side with Gen5 arms. My end result after settling an inch (7-8K off road miles) was 22 inches from the wheel hub center to the "outside" bottom of the fender flare. Are you folks measuring to the outside of the flare, the back would be less by about one inch? Anyway, I'm disappointed in the end result. I had hoped the steel spacer would give me more than it did. The thought of using two each side seemed unnecessary at the time and I would have needed to scrounge up longer top mounting bolts.

I guess I'll have to do the conduit nut thing just to see 22.5" I already have some space in the clevis since the Rancho has a lip the strut assembly sits on. That is, it does not fully seat on the bottom of the clevis as I've seen in some images. As for the Rancho's, I'm quite happy with them, they have just enough travel without being too stiff.

* not zinc plated as shown, just black painted...if that matters

I have a used set of Rusty's spacer strut plates. PM me if you are interested.
