Hi I'm farily new to lost but you guys always have great advise!!!

I've had a lift on the wife's '05 now for over 1000 miles and it all the sudden has a funny noise comming from the rear pass. side tire? At frist I thought maybe it was just a loose shock but that is not it. Ive found that while jacked up if I hit that tire hard enough with the palm of my hand it will make the noise. It almost seems like the tire has a small amount of in & out play in it. I took the tire off and put it back on but still get the same clunking noise.

Any Ideas??
TIA

The jeep has 35,000 and less then 1,000 with the lift. The lift is the new one Rough Country has out. It is sold as a 3" lift. It came with new rear springs, shocks, and for the front it is a spacer that goes on the bottom of the strut NOT THE TOP. I don't think the lift is causing the noise??

This is a link to the lift

Have you double checked the top shock bolt? Some of the cheaper shocks are too small/narrow and need extra washers in there to make them fit properly, that can make a noise

make sure you have some good extended bumpstops as well with that spacer lift

Check the inner fender for movement. I swapped out the "xmas trees" for 8mm bolts and no clunk since.

top shock bolts like was mentioned.
Make sure you go over all the bolts again in back and front...especially the ball joints...make sure they are nice and tight. I torqued mine the first time when I was done installing and a month later had to torque them again.
