this is the only one they give the people who make the frankenlift say you need.. and the only one i have. i've wheeled the S*** out of my KJ and never had a problem. other people on here have made one for the other side as well but based on my experience i dont see its necessary.

Interesting picture. Is that a wire? I'm installing a Daystar 2.5" lift on my '06 this weekend and am going to fab my own bracket for the left rear brake line extension and would like to know how you did yours. Does your brake line look like mine?

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

'06+ KJ's have 2 brake lines, both on the left side, that need extending. The one in the 1st pic is one and your pic shows the other, this is due to ESP being added.Older KJ's only have one rear brake line like the one in your pic.

Where is the second brake line? Is that in the middle of the axle where the 't' fittings are? I'm so confused?!? :?
And, again, how did you fab your extension? It looks like a wire.
Thanks for the input.

Follow the brake lines and you will see,the other one is pretty hidden.

O.K., followed the line and found another hose connected to the inside of the wheel well frame forward of the axle on the left side that looks like it needs to be dropped. I think I'll be able to fab something that works. Again I ask, how did you fab your extension? I'm most interested (unless a patent is pending)

The brake line you just found use a flat piece of steel,1"x3.5" long and about 1/8" thick, drill one 1/4" hole 1/4" from each end(centered) and unbolt the block from the unibody and bolt one end of the flat steel to using the stock bolt and bolt the block to the other end using a 1/4" bolt. The other brake line take a 2"x3" 1/8" walled square tubing and cut a 2" piece off of it,drill a 1/4" hole in each end(top and bottom if standing it the tall way) and again unbolt the block and bolt the extension in.
