Post subject:  JBA CV Axle Shafts

Has anyone tried the JBA CV Axle shafts? My CV angles are pretty bad since I don't have enough weight in the front for the HD springs and the JBAs are a lot less expensive the J.E. Reels so I would much rather go that route... since I'm broke.

I have the same with no weight in the front and no issues as of yet. Still stock shafts. How bad is the angle? Post a picture, lets take a look

I'll let you know. Just ordered both sides. Recently replaced my old OTT lift w/ Frenakenlift 1 and JBA arms. Developed an issue w the passenger side CV and tried replacing w/ stock and it made more noise than before. Hoping the new CV shafts solve the problem.

OK they're on and it eliminated the noise. Only time will tell how good these are. Considering I got 95K on my stock CVs and all of those miles w/ a lift, I would expect about the same or better.

When were your old cv joints making noise? I think my problem is the cv joints but I don't know?

mine started out making noise when doing anywhere from 45 to 60mph and it sounded like something was smacking underneath everytime the cvs made a revolution. it was extremely annoying and sounded like something seriously was going to shatter.
