would 4.56s be too low for 32's? they would give me plenty of power but i've got a feeling that it would be revving pretty high goin down the interstate. what do u guys think??

Unless you have a 2wd KJ your out of luck on 4.56 gears since no such gear set is available for the front D30A.But otherwise yes 4.56's with 32" tires would be about perfect.

if one were to upgrade to 4.10's... what are the advantages?

when you go up any noticeable amount in tire size and keep your stock 3.73s you are goin to loose both mileage and power, and your speedomoeter is gonna be off, i put on 245 75 MTRs and lost 1 or 2 MPG and i can tell a difference in the power, so goin to 4.10s (a lower gear ratio) will bring it back to around stock specs.

plus it will let your jeep crawl slower... reduce wear an the motor/tranny/clutch...

i really need to regear to 4.10's 32" mud tires, bumper, winch, subwoofer/box, steel wheels, full skids... really weighs me down and kills the power.

if you have a 6 speed (came with 3.55's not 3.73's)... 4.10's will be about perfect to restore factory power. if you have an auto i think they will still be a little tall (but MUCH better then stock)

if you shop around for the best deal yes, the gears and rebuild kits will cost you about $500-600 and then install will be about the same, I would prepare for about a $1000-1200 total price.

That's a killer deal if that is for both ends since the D30A 4.10's are almost $300 alone and you have to completely remove the front diff to install them and not to mention it's $200 for the 8.25 gears also.So you have about $600-$650 in parts alone,so $250-$300 for labor is a steal(and there taking it up the stupid big time).

Ya $900 is good, I paid that just for labor.

But it is well worth it.

Yukon does not make D30A gears,it has been discussed before the only company that makes D30A gears is Dana/Spicer though Precision used to package Dana/Spicer D30A gears in there own box but where still stamped Dana/Spicer.

I would make sure that the Yukon gears are for a Dana 30a and not for a regular Dana 30......
