I'm going to be installing my a-arms gen 4.5 sometime in the near future and have three questions. 1.) Do they need to be greased after I install them or do they come pres-greased. 2.) Should I just use regular automotive grease or something specific. 3.) About how often should I check and grease them?

Thanks in advance for the info!

they need to be greased. they have a film of grease so they arent "dry" but they need to be packed with grease after you install them. i have red'n'tacky grease made by Lucas, but if you go to auto-zone or advanced auto, etc. any automotive chassis lube grease will work. i would do it at least every 3k miles, maybe even more often, cant hurt to pump a little bit of grease to make sure its good. when it starts coming out around the boot its good to go

Groovy! Thanks, that's what I had figured after I got them in. Just wanted to make sure so I didn't assume and use the wrong stuff/method! I will just wait till I change my oil after I install them and see how they are holding up to gauge frequency! Since it's almost winter and the trails won't be as muddy, I would guess the grease will last a bit longer...
