Rustys Full Coil Lift well rear shocks do not fit right, you have to add extra washers in the rear so they don't rattle Rustys springs will give you lift but will start to sag quickly. They are also rated the same as the stock springs So for the 465 you spend there are other much better alternatives for just a little more. Better to save and do it right the first time. just my 2 cents Tom |

Best bet with little to no problems is 245-75-16 tires OME Heavy Duty springs 927s for the front, 948s for the rear, everyone sells the springs for about the same money 160 or so a pair Rancho shocks RSX 17004 rear about 70-75 each at JBA RSX 17505 for the front 85,95 each at JBA They have discontinued these but there are still some out there. Contact JeepinByAl and talk to Marlin, hes getting more in. Terflex front bumpstops 20/25 each 2 Hockey pucks per side in the rear for bumpstops Thats a start for you |

Thanks You don't have to get gears right away, but you will lose a lot of power with those tires. Yo can do a bit at a time. Lift and tires, then gears. Get a Frankenlift or look around here for info on an OME HD lift with extra rear iso pads and front clevis spacers and you'll be set. |

What not replacing the front struts? rear bumpstops 4 inches is too much and 22 bucks , 4 hockey pucks for 4 bucks total plus the price of the Daystar is abouth the same price as a new set of front coils |

http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep_liberty_3.html http://www.rockkrawler.com/?r_intro=1 http://www.revtek.com/jeepsusp.asp#582 These are all crap. So what's your budget.....? Daystar 2.5" may fit your wallet. http://www.boulderbars.com/kjproducts.htm If you want to spend a little more and install it yourself...(very easy ) Terraflex.. http://www.trailquest.com/teraflex/KJ/suspension.shtml Now if you want a real good lift...do what Tom said. tommudd wrote: They have discontinued these but there are still some out there. If the front spacers end up being a complete POS then I'll make adjustments. There seemed to be enough happy customers I read about through a search. The rear bumpstops will be cut appropriately. I guess I could've saved 20 bucks on the bumpstops. Not a big deal. |

I have run the Rusty's lift for 100,000 miles with 265 75 16s and it worked great. It did sag a bit after many miles, then I just added a few clevis rings and a rear isolator. You can add a few washers on both sides of the rear shocks or buy the lift minus the Rustys shocks and hunt down some Rancho's. All J has em. I think if you are on a budget this is a great full coil spring lift. Look how happy it has made me.

Well I have decided to lift Mainly because the jeep needs new struts and shocks In -30C going over little bumps and whatnot the liberty is starting to bottom out ( By the way I live In northern Canada so that where the -30 came from and it gets colder... and no I don't live in an igloo... Also the tires are about due for replacing so why not Lift it and but some bigger tires I really like the stance of the liberty with the 265/75 R16 on I do a lot of hunting and venturing out and about in the woods so this would help out with getting me more places and it will just be more fun I believe. The lift kit I would really like to keep the shocks struts and springs under 600.00 US I can manage that... shipping is gona kick my booty too though! I'm pretty handy I'm an aircraft mechanic so ill be fine with the install and making the hockey puck bump stops and whatever else needs to be done I plan on owning the liberty for 4 more years after that well It's time for a new rig i think so the big question is do I really need the expensive lift or will the rusty's lift be fine for me? I don't use the jeep for any long hauls or anything like that, I work for an airline company so for all my trips i fly, cheap real cheap! so keep the suggestions coming and thanks for the help guys its much appreciated! |

100,000 miles on an OME lift and it has sagged a little , another local KJ I lifted with Rustys and 30,000 miles has sagged over an inch. he has no aftermarket bumper, I have the ARB So spend a little more and be good for a long time And to those that install a clevis lift to make up for the sag , thats only a bandaid fix. Like putting a push up bra on Grandma she may look good from a distance but |

OME Rancho, save up and do it once. I have the HD OME coils and no skids or bumper and I think it rides great. Tom, do you have 4:10's in your jeep. |
