I was driving through a small creek and got caught up in alot of wet rock, i couldn't get out in 2 wheel so I threw it in 4 high and I did nothing at all it was like it was in neutral. I put it in 4 low and it jumped right out, can my 4 high have a problem and my 4 low not?

did it do the same when you went back through from 4-lo to neutral to 4-hi?

i've had it jump out of 4-hi because i didn't pull it back all the way but even then when it pops out of 4hi it goes back to regular ol 2wd

If you have select trac then you simply didnt allow it to go into 4hi. Best to put it into 4wd before you get stuck.

i experienced the exact same thing last week (only mud, not rock). haven't had the time to investigate any further. I have the 242 transfer case so I might have had it in full time and not realized it.
