Have replaced the rear upper control
arm bushings and ball joint.
My clunking noise seems to be half of
what it was.
Would the trailing arm bushings contribute
to this clunking noise?
Seems to happen when off and on the throttle at
regular daily driving..
Any ideas....?

Also check to make sure your upper shock mounts are tight.

sounds like the same problem I had recently. I agree it might be the rear u-joints, that's what mine was...

my clunking noise happens where the A-arm comes out of the unibody, the bottom of the arm contacts the bottom of the cut out where the arm transitions from inside the engine compartment to inside the wheel well and created a clunk
