So new alt & battery and what? - now the light just stays on? - or are all systems still dying? If not cables, I would have to think maybe a computer issue? |

maybe you have to remove the error code from the computer? (like the engine check light) |

So where are you at with this? Just curious, did you check both ends of each cable? What about the Alt / gen decoupler pulley, and or drive belt?? Are all fuses in the module box tight and or good? You never did say wether you were getting a code? Jayme, you might need someone (dealer?) to run a test using a Midtronics Battery & Charging System Tester. General question to anyone who knows - Does the '02 KJ 3.7 have a battery temp sensor in the bottom of the battery tray? |

Sounds like you bounced that old battery around a little too much....you haven't been off road have you? What kind of battery did you replace it with? My stock battery developed a dead cell after 27,000 and I replaced it with an Optima RedTop...supposed to be bullet proof...we'll see. |

Wire off the fuse box that the battery acid ate thru was the culprit. Aaron soldered it back together, and then used some sort of liquid tape to seal it. I just got back from a trip around town, and everything is working fine... no battery warning light. |
