Post subject:  Problem with rivets for front bumper need help

Hi Guys,
I took my front bumper cover off to replace it and I ordered the new rivets part number 770-2871 from Napa. The rivets dont fit in the rivet gun I bought and they dont seam to fit into the bumper either. Can someone please give me some help?
Thanks!

Hillman Push-In nylon rivet 7/16th H#881209 138232 J4 those are the numbers on the bag any 7/16th push in reuseable rivet will work

stock rivets are slightly smaller and didn't hold as tight, i've had no problems with these rivets what so ever and they corrected all of the looseness / flare alignment issues that i had

Last time I took my bumper off All I had around was plastic sheet rock anchors. They worked great, I was going to change them out later but I never did. Thats been over a year and they are still holding fine.

Will these rivets work for a 05 Liberty? I have the 3 metal rivets on each side of the wheel housing to drill out and was wondering if these plastic rivets will work.

Thanks...There are also metal rivets on the bottom where the air dam is attached...do you know if the plastic rivets will work on them. There is a notchout where the rivet is placed, and it looks like the plastic rivets head is larger and will fit in the notch...???

Thanks,
Ray
