I know that one of the trim levels on one of the KK's or KJ's had a manual height adjustment on the driver's and passenger's seat. I cannot for the life of me find it online.

Neither of ours have power seats, and I don't really consider them necessary. We don't want seat heaters either. All I'm looking for is a way to raise the seats when I want to, short of sitting on a telephone book.

I'd like to be able to keep the seats we have. Is it possible to do that & get either the power seat adjusters or a manual lever assembly to add to them?

Most 'seat height adjustments' that I've seen (or felt) in vehicles were just basically tilting the seat back and forth so that the rear most part sits lower. Good luck.

Right before we bought the Rennie we were at a Jeep dealership, and some of the KK's had seats with a lever down by the door, similar in action to a barber's chair. You can "pump" the seat up, vertically, towards the roof.

What I'm wondering is if it's possible to buy or find the part that does this, or if we have to totally swap out the seats we have now for new ones, or if we have to go to the electronic 8-way adjustable seats to get them to move up.

Sitting on a pillow or phonebook puts the backrest in the wrong position.
