I have a 2005 libby with the optional Trak-Loc diff in the rear. It seems like it doesn't engage as well as it used to. Is there a way to test how good it is? If it is not up to par, what do I do? Repair it Replace it Leave it alone and put Detroit True Trac up front Or ? Thanks for any advice. |

the simplest answer is that it doesn't work as good as it used to due to the miles and its relatively short lifespan there's kits to rebuild them but then you're still dealing with the same life span, if you can afford it, DTT front and rear is pretty hawt |

thanks for the feedback. I will probably go to a dealer and see what the cost would be or if they think fixing is the way to go. |

Unless your dealer is different, the tech is going to tell you that you can fix it... of course you can fix it (or have them do it) Just ask yourself if that will suit your needs? Mark |
