Are these needed on a lift?

Reason I'm asking is I have noticed that the rear axle is moved forward when lifting the KJ. Would a longer DS put it back into factory specs?

Also, would cut/machined CVs decrease the stress caused by the increased angles?

Thanks!

Keith

Driveshaft would not shove the axle back.
You would need longer lower control arms , plus then you would also need to move the top of the diff to keep the angles correct. Lots of time and money for really nothing. When you stuff the wheel up into the wheel well its arc allows it to stuff up in anyways

Cut CVs would and do help over 4 inches I would say up to that not really needed

Thank you Reverend Mud!

I appreciate it. I think I will be ok with Troys lift without the CVs.

That lift was well tested over time and never had any problems at all so yes you'll be fine !
