In the morning paper I read that a crack can develope in the Dana Corp. front differential on about 8,000 2010 Tacoma 4x4 pickup's and the front drive shaft could drop causing the driver to loose control. Most are still on dealer lots.

Does this all sound very familiar to any KJ owners I wonder how many other toyo models have the same problem. Another cover up maybe

What the fix will be? Maybe a strap holding the drive shaft up.

It would seem a investigation of ALL of Dana corp's front differential housings is in order. Toyo owners don't like that kind of thing but we KJ owners just put up with it

Suppliers like Dana only supply what the manufacturer specs. It doesn't matter if it is diffs, tires, wiper blades......

Yep.... If the specs are crap, they are crap. It like at first how yota tried to blame the US manufacture for the pedal problem when UK yotas were having the same issues with pedals made over there............
