First welcome to LOST Second we need more information on what you want to do with the KJ Third, Where or what kind of places you want to go Forth, Budget I mean we can go from a 1.99 pine tree air freshner to a 25,000 dollar full blown SFA! So???? But take your time , read some on here of what others have done and what works then go from there Open question like you posted is going to get you 20 pages of so many different things its going to make your head spin. For example if you're going off road , tow points and skids, better tires going to the mall then no skids are needed

I'm looking to do a 2.5 to 3.0 lift, allterrain tires, maybe some custom bumpers and a few engine mods like intake exhaust, electric fan. I was always a old school toyota man but this is my first post 80's truck and my first jeep so I'm not really sure whats out there for these jeeps or what works and what doesn't. |

Real Jeep? First start by trading yours in on something with a turbo diesel..... |

If only I could! The only ones I could find (there where only 4 or 5 of them in the US) where way out of my price range. I'm a big fan of turbo diesel engines and I think its retarded that America is so far behind on the TD . ONe of my next big projects is going to be either a TD Samurai or early 80's toyota. |

Actually the Rockfather lift uses OME 927 springs in the front and 948s in the rear so springs are good, customer service leaves a bit to be desired! |

x2 on the All J's Frankenlift at http://www.boulderbars.com/jkproducts.htm , they're in SoCal, so shipping won't take that long for you wither, they are one of the first companies to actually support the KJ and the Customer service is outstanding! -x2 on Rocky Road, they suck on customer service, routinely rip off others designs, and you never know if you will actually get your part... |
