Post subject:  Tire size on stock wheels

Hi all, this question has probably been answered as many times as the sun has come up, but because I need to know I will ask anyway.

I have a 2002 Liberty Sport and I plan to add the 2" Teraflex budget boost within the next few weeks. Will 31x10.50's fit on the stock 16x7 rims without trimming, wheel spacers etc...? and if not what is the best tire size?

a 265/70/16 is approx 31x10.5... most people run 245/75/16 on smaller budget lifts with no rubbing. the 10.5 wide might be to wide for the kj.

Teraflex? are you sure ?
Daystar would be a better choice if you don't have too many miles on it
265-70s would be pretty wide for stock and no spacers, it all depends on brand and tread pattern as well!

My jeep has 83k, the only reason for the teraflex kit would be that my local shop (clemson 4 wheel center) has it in stock and for a reasonable price as for tires I am looking for a bfg a-t or possibly, general grabber at2's size is the factor.
Thanks everyone for the help, this is a paycheck to paycheck build not a one day money drop.
