Post subject:  Help! Electrical issue!

Hi All,

I was away for one week, left my 2006 CRD parked. During that time we had fluctuating temperatures (not sure if that is relevant) from above and below the freezing mark.

I got in the Jeep this morning, and noticed that the AIRBAG light was on.. then i noticed that the blower motor wasn't responding at any speed, nor the turn signals (absolutely no response from them) however the 4 way emergency flashers are working. Also, on the same panel as the blower speed selector is the a/c botton and the rear defroster button - these don't seem to be working either

I've checked the fuses under the hood and in the cabin - all appear ok. I am assuming there is a common ground problem or module issue.. but I could really use some advice on this issue.

Thank you!!

Sounds like too much to just happen to go all at the same time. I'd check to see if your battery is going. Sometimes irregular power supplies can make the body control module do strange things (lock and unlock doors, forget radio volume control signals, etc). Test the unit and if it's still okay, put it on a charger overnight before you try starting it up again. When I have a vehicle that I leave for a while, I connect a trickle charger like this one:
