I have had a very slow leak in one of my tires (have to fill every several weeks) and finally decided to check it out. There is a fuzz leak around the valve stem. Anybody here have this experience with the TPMS valve stem leaking and what is the fix; can anything be tightened or does the assembly have to be replaced?

Most likely, you will just have to get a TPMS service kit. comes with new schrader valve, seals, etc. I think mine cost around 8 bucks. You can do the work yourself by breaking the bead on one side and removing the sensor. Or a quality tire shop should be able to fix you wup

Thanks for the info; I'm guessing this is a dealer item or do parts stores have the kits?

Napa and CarQuest most likely will have them.Don't bother with advance or autozone.
