I was trying to piece together a lift for the cheapest amount possible. All OME is the way I want to go but its just too expensive for me. I was thinking of getting the OME springs and putting them on cheaper shocks. I know the stockers would blow very quickly but are there any other low cost shocks that could work? Like monroe or something? The Rough Country shocks are cheap....looking at the nitro 9000 for the durango as well as the Rancho rs5000 but not sure if they will work on the liberty because they are not the same as ive seen others on here use. Also for the front thinking kyb gr-2 This isn't for off-roading but I still want a decent ride (atleast as good as stock) on-road. Thanks Sam |

Get quality shocks, sure spend a little more now but they will out last and out perform the cheap junk.OEM,Monroe, and no name stuff last maybe 30k at best.OME,high end Rancho's,and Bilstiens will last about 100k if not longer. |

No matter if you are driving to the Mall or off roading the shocks take a beating all of the time cycling up and down. Don't take the cheap way out on them. I have to swap my Ranchos out now but they've been on for over 102,000 miles, try that with Monroes or any of the other "cheap" shocks |

In the past I have had excellent luck with skyjackers. I have heard stories from others though... but, since I have had good experience I went with skyjackers, and I think I made out like a bandit. |

My cheap shocks that came with the Rockfather lift I bought NIB from the original purchaser are junk at under 15,000 miles. I believe they are possibly the same as Rusty's. There are RSx17004's laying on the bench to go on when I get the chance. Far easier & cheaper to do it once. |
