Post subject:  Daystar Top Plates or Shims?

So I am looking for more lift in the front after almost a year with my OME stuff installed. This time I'm going to go with the the OME927 springs and I was wondering if it would be better to replace the stock top plates with Daystars or add a set of Boilers'shims to the stock top plates to get more height.

Whaddya think?

Thanks everybody....

I use Boiler-type shims and have zero issues. The daystars tops have been talked about alot. They have been blamed for anything from possibly cutting a strut to noise issues. I know at least one person who did away with the frankielift & daystar for the shims and is super glad that he did. I donta know anything but that the shims work dandy.

No use to get the Daystar top plates if you have stock already, if you get them then you have to buy a 3/4 inch isolator as well. Just get some 3/8 inch thick top plates (or make some your self, very easy) and be done

I have ran mine with about every combination out there using OME springs. It all works pretty good, never did fiqure out why some don't like the Frankenlift parts , mines doing fine, no noises or problems. Takes some time to seat in good though.
