Got my UCA's last week (thx tommudd) and am trying to plan an install party for both the JBA UCA's and the Frankie IIP. Can anyone give me any insight on what kind of time I'm looking at here? Should we start at 6:00 am in order to try to finish by dark, or what? Also, are there any How-To threads on both of these installs? |

tools, jack, jack stands etc and a few hours. If anyone close to you has done one then you have it made, if not its still fairly simple to do. Actually its one of the least difficult lifts I have done on any 4 WD. No special tools are needed since you have the Franky. Do need some good swivels and extensions for the left rear bolt on the UCA but thats about it. |

Hope it is of some use. |

Thanks for the replies. Got your PM, bad boy. Very informative write-up, I'm now considering tackling this in my garage maybe this weekend (if I can get the Frankie here by then). But, I may wait, another member locally has a two-post lift that will make all of this a LOT easier. Anyone got any clues on the brake line relocation for '06+ MY's? |

I've still got the brackets I whipped up when putting on my lift, that I didn't use.Very simple. You know I'm in LW.Done one, done'em all. BTW,I got screwed on the memorial day weekend with camping(wifey has work sat & sun),so Sunday night, Mon is not out of the picture. If you do it this weekend,I might be able to swing it. Depends on the weather. If it's nice I gotta get to the camp to cut grass. Which reminds me.......If I help get this lift on,you'll be owing me bigtime on camp help. Ever run a bush hog? |

I've never run a bush hog, but I love running machinery and can figure it out. I'll owe you big time after this one, since I'm not even for sure where we can get it done. BUT IT WILL BE DONE. |
