new problem.... i think

so a couple of weeks ago my front drive shaft had gone bad....

now..... i think my CV'sare going bad..

lately i have noticed that i have excesive play in the steering and a lil extra body roll.

everytime i go over a bump it sounds like metal contact. this only happens when there is a bigger bump.. does not happen when i go over speed bumps, only at hiagher speeds.. went to look under the KJ and i am leaking sometype of oil... right near the front... i assume this is the front transfer case?..

or would this be the a tie rod?

i have new bumpstops iin place, and my sway bar bushings are also new. both have about 11,000 miles on them. (lifted it with the BDS in november)

my mechanic is going to look at it monday. my question is if it is the cv's, how much do they cost to replacE?

does anyone else have an idea as to what this may be?

i will try to take pictures of this problem tomorrow, try to take it with my phone before i go to work, then upload them to this site.

Sounds like a bad rack&pinion steering gear.

thanks for the quick reply.... are they a common problem? seems like lately i been having nothing but problems withthe kj. haha. maybe has to do with the fact that it has 113,000 miles on it....

how much does that part go for?
