So I'm looking at getting this in preperation for a lift and bigger tires soon and am curious Is it going to wideN my track width 1.25 inches each side or a grand total of 2.5 inches? Looking at the wheel spacing kit and noticed it only came with two spacers. Am I missing something or don't I want to do front an rear? Never seen anyone want a wheel spacer kit for a motorcycle so why does it come with only two? Edit for spelling. Lol sorry typing on an iPhone with busted screen and annoying auto correct spellng that comes up with thr most odd ball words that I don't even think is English.

Yes Josh, it will widen your track 1.25" per side for a total of 2.5". You can use these if you have a problem with the wider tires rubbing on the rear of the framerail or at the front of the tire on the sway bar. They come in sets of 2, so you have to buy 2 sets.

The problem is, $200 will buy you a new set of wheels with different backspacing eliminating the need for the spacers. I don't think Spidertrax put much thought into their pricing.

The only exception I found to this, was getting a deal on eBay or craigslist. :goink:

I can't do an entire suspension with you, but I can stop by for 1/2 hour or so to keep you moving in the right direction :D

Mabe post in the "Parts Wanted" section.I've known three guys that bought spacers only to sell them after having problems with fitment and rubbing.

Mabe try the two on the front to see if they will give you what you want before getting two more. :2cents:
You might be posting in the "For Sale" section.

I have 2 sets of Spider trax wheel spacers that have never been used... there still in the box. I guess when I bought them I didnt pay attention to it saying it changes you lug pattern to a JK. I didnt want to buy new rims so I dicided not to use them. If you are interested I will let them go for 100 (complete front and rear).

I know this has been said before, but..

I think its better to spend the money on a set of wheels, instead of the spacers, unless you're crazy in love with your rims.

Bad enough having twenty nuts torqued correctly, now you have forty.. Annoying/difficult to keep track of. My two cents.

Time to go :JEEPIN: !

For the sake of the almighty search engines and myself... can someone please mention the best offset for the cragars or whatever steel wheel works best in leiu of wheel spacers? I can't remember for the life of me, and I am sure others will benefit.

Thanks!
Mark

If I remember correctly it is Four (4) inches of backspace..
At least that is what I have.

I believe Stock Alloys are 5.5.
MOABs are 5.0 :?

Sorry if I missed something, but I have Spidertrax 1.25" spacers on mine, and they did not change the bolt pattern, still running Renegade stock rims.

Some are simply spacers that don't mess with the bolt pattern, and others are spacers/adapters that do change the pattern. Just depends what you buy and how closely you look before you buy buy buy.
