On the wife 2002 2.8 Litre diesel turbo KJ jeep There is Noise from under the car when cold, it sounds like a were-ing Noise like bearing. Could this just be due to old auto transmission fluid? I will be changing it anyway, cause its the cheapest way out Allen |

Check your power steering Fluid. Check for rack leaks. It's probably your Power steering pump getting on in life. Mine just started doing a similar noise a little bit ago. |

Thanks will do so. BTW , i changed the Auto trans. fluid and the Noise is Gone.  It takes 4.5 Litres so yes you have to get Semi synthetic stuff that cost heaps. You now have me worried about the power steering and i will check that before I do anything else |
