A couple questions

I have started to assemble my lift- I have Rancho shocks, JBAs strut plates, rear isos, and conduit nuts. Im waiting on the money to buy the OME springs, and front struts. I should have about 350 with the next 2 weeks working for a friends dad.
-So First, I do not plan on buying an ARB or a heavy bumper, or a winch; if anything i will buy a TJ bumper and fab it on like ive seen many do, then make a front skid- I really like that look. I plan to make my own rock rails by roughly following the Rocklizard Skink slider design. Now for the question, would i be okay with OME medium springs (926/947)? or should i go 927/948? Remember most likely TJ front bumper and custom sliders.
-Second, I am 16. Ive been saving up for months to lift this, and went from wanting Rough Country, to Daystar, finally to OME because of a what all yall have said- Thank you for the patience. I Take care of my things and plan of taking good care of this Jeep and having it for a long time to come. Now ive been reading on this forum for close to a year and i know most people go with Bilstein front struts since the Rancho 17505s were discontinued. Money is a big issue for me seeing as the economy has gone bad and it seems no one wants to hire a teen with no previous experience. I know its not what most of you would do, and i know ill probably get chastised for wanting to buy the cheaper product, but money is hard to come by. I want to buy Bilstein front struts, but at close to 200 for a pair, PLUS still having to buy the springs I cant. So what has a better ride quality? KYB or Monroe? I can get a pair of either for roughly 120.
And just for grins, my liberty has 73k on it. From center of wheel to bottom of fender im sitting at 17 1/4 in the front and 18 in the back.

I have the 927/948 and have a front hitch and the ride is nice and smooth. I'm running Ranchos front and rear, but Last week I blew out a front Rancho in Moab on the trail. The only shock I could find in that town was a Monroe. So for now the monroe shock is holding up after a hundred miles or so on the trail and a thousand miles on the road since then. But from what I have read on here it may not last very long. Are all the 17505,s gone now I thought there was still a few around.

We all know what you are going through, wanting to do it right the first time but with money being tight you want to save where possible. I know some have ran the KYBs and have had luck with them, Monroes, not worth putting on in the long run.
I would try and save for the Bilsteins if not the KYBs
I would still go with the 927/948 combo, all that I have installed and helped installed everyone likes the ride

Just did search looks like they are all gone. I guess I will be putting on the used OME shocks/stuts that are sitting in the garage.

Thank y'all for the quick reply, I work for a friends dad off and on, and we never really know what week were gonna work and when were not going to. So what i end up buying all depends on how much manual labor he can find for us to do. Anyways, thanks again for the advice; Ill be back asking questions soon. Hopefully next time Ill have all the lift parts.

Rancho 9000xl struts are always an option. Part Number 999764 they are what I run, The only downfall is the amount of Clevis Lift you can run. I can only fit 3 Per side due to the Adjuster hitting the Clevis.
