I bought my Liberty about 2 months ago, it came with a Warn 9.5xp winch. It did not come with the remote or cable. So the other day i bought a remote and plugged it up and hit the button. It made a clicking noise then stopped. Everytime i hit the button it would make this noise. Was just wondering if my winch was no good anymore or if a part had gone bad? Any input would be great. Thanks

sounds like the solenoid is sticking. If you're sure power is connected to the Batt, try smacking the control box like a starter on an old Chevy van (while operating the switch). All this assumes you have a compatible remote too.

Make sure the cable is not tangled around anything.

There are rebuild kits available from Warn if you need to replace a solenoid.

Can you post a pic for us? We all like to see a pic of a winch on a Libby.
