Post subject:  Lockers

I've started looking into Lockers. I would really like a selectable one. Is the ARB the only option left? I've found some really OLD posts where some XJ guys where putting them in the DCX 8.25s but cant find anything recent. Have they discontinued it?

The ARB is still available...remember you get onboard air if you get the ARB (good for airing down AND up!)

I don't see the e-locker listed for the 8.25 on Eaton's website...http://www.traction.eaton.com/prod7.htm

is it not up to date?

I just noticed I missed some key words in my post...

I've found some really OLD posts where some XJ guys where putting OX Lockers in the DCX 8.25s but cant find anything recent.

Anyway-I looked for the Eaton on their site and their "certified" vendors and cant find that either??

Thanx

I don't think an Eaton E-locker is available for the 8.25...just GM and Fords...

I have the ARBs on both front and rear, love them. If you do get them, do not count on the compressor to fill your tires. It will work, but slow. ARB will admit the pump is designed for the lockers not to fill tires. For that it works great.

As for the OX, that is what I would have gone for, but in early '02, they did not have it available for our 8.25. We have the speed sensor and tone ring on the carrier not at the end of the tube like older 8.25's on xj's. As for the front, OX does not make one for the Dana 30 A.
