ok so my Myrlte (02 libby) has a whine, starts at about 35-40 mph and whines till about 50-55. I take my foot off the gas and it goes away. I already did a tranny flush, also flushed the rear dif. I took in some water in the pine barrens last weekend dude to my breather being dry rotted... cleaned out the rear dif. re-sealed and new breather. The sound is still there. Theres no vibration, sound is coming from under the center console. Any suggestions on what it could be? Im taking a look at the transfer case tomorrow and flushing out that as well. Any suggestions are much appreciated. |

Yea...false alarm Looks like its the pinion bearings. Not bad, only $25-27 bucks for the two of them, now if only i knew someone who was local and could replace them for me. I read up on how to replace them, however, i'm not feeling 100% confident in myself to replace them lol. |
