Has anyone done this? Mine '04 has been riding on the Rusty for almost 2 years and it's great. However, my cv joints could take a bit higher lift. I've seen some RRO combo kits on pre-lowered KJ's and they are easily 1-1.5" taller than I am. So I don't see why this wouldn't work. Rusty does sell 0.75 spacers for the front I just need to located some for the back. |

Just do a 3/8" clevis lift on the front and add an extra set of upper spring isolaters on the rear to give ya some extra boost. Isolators were about $22.00 a pair from the dealership.(Disconnect the rear sway bar first and they slip in alot easier). Clevis lift costs nothing but a little of your time. |

How much extra lift do the upper spring isolators give? My dealer quoted me at 14 bucks per spring isolator...28+ for a pair. |

Sounds interesting. How does the spring isolator help? |

A spring isolator is essentially a spacer. It's just a rubber "spacer" to put inbetween the spring seat and the spring itself so that it doesn't make a clanking noise all the time. |
