| Post subject: | Debadging left rings on paint? |
So about a week ago i debadged the back of my jeep- came off very clean (I used a hairdryer and dental floss, and cleaned it off with a adhesive-remover I found in the Auto Section at Walmart. Looks spotless. Well tonight, i decided to do the front- I used a heat gun (carefully, kept it moving) and pried the letters off, and used the adhesive remover again, and used windex afterwards to clean it. So the back looks spotless, but the front letters have a dull ring around where each of the letters went? It looks like a faded outline sort of- How can I remove this? I scrubbed the front with a washrag and the windex but it wouldnt budge D: |

Little rubbing compound, then wax good and forget it for a while. You'll always be able to see it some since the paint has faded but not as much as that area fades over time |
