My 2003 KJ has nearly 97K miles on it, and the front springs are groaning like crazy and have sagged. I will be replacing them soon with Old Man Emu model 926 (medium duty) and removing the front Daystar 1.5" spacers. Can I get by with replacing only the front coil springs while leaving the rear factory springs and 2" spacer in place? Based on what I've read about spring rate/height, I expect the OME926 front springs will give me a level ride with an all-around 2" of lift over stock height? I don't want handling to become any sloppier than it is, but my impression is that the struts and front springs contribute more to handling than rear. Thanks, T.J. |

Rear springs wear out just as much as the fronts Replacing the front shocks and springs will help a lot of course but I would do all 4 to have a great ride and handling. You would be able to notice the difference. |
