i think eventually. They think that the market is pretty saturated. but I told them that most of it is junk, and they said ?really? So I think they're looking into it, and if the IronMan suspension for the KJ is the same as all their other stuff, then I dont think there will be a problem with their stuff selling like hotcakes... |

got a phone call a few minutes ago from Eli at cammel4x4 about the IronMan KJ lift. He was going to place a shipment order for me but they've seemed to run out of a part for the kit in Australia. This sucks eggs, because even if I did order the kit now, it would take, gulp, 8 weeks for it to arrive stateside via boat. I think air would be expensive. He is still waiting for the spring rates info tho, and when I get that info, I'll post it here. I'm thinking, and hoping, that it has the stiiffest rate, not by much more than the OME790, but enough so I wouldnt have to worry about bottoming out when my rig is full of gear and family and going over boulders and such down a steep incline..... |

Not really sure what you are hauling or how big your family and hauling needs are but after running the 790s for over 10,000 miles now I can't see you having problems with them. I mean the 927s lasted me 100,000 and now on another KJ Good luck with them Its great to try out new things but I for one would not want to have that kit, have something go wrong and be sitting for a while waiting on parts to be shipped in. I know if I damage a spring or shock I can have one in a couple of days. Maybe this place will start stocking the parts for a KJ but..... |

Maybe this place will start stocking the parts for a KJ but..... yup agreed. thing is, I watched a couple youtube vids of some KJ's with the ARB bumpers and winches, and to me the front end still didnt look as solid as it should be, and that was when they were crawling. Now, they never bottomed out, and I do not intend on barn storming boulders, but where I live, we have mostly steep mining/mule trails with lots of cobble (from ancient riverbeds) and granite all over the trails. If my bumper and winch are already sticking out, and add to that the steep downhill trail, I want to make sure that the front wont bounce, bottom out, or just be too soft. Or, perhaps its more an illusion, and the Franky lifts hold up heartily under those circumstances... On another post this morning, we got some pics of someone who has the ironman lift with the Light Duty springs. No lift at all. So I am starting to lean away from this package until it can be more tried and trued. I cant afford to with all my bad habbits ->
