Post subject:  05' KJ Limited-Lower Ball Joint(bad) & Control Arm HELP
Hello all...I have recently become a new member of this site,even though I hate typing..I had to respond to this particular subject. In June 05' I purchased a new 2005 Jeep Liberty Limited 4x4. By August I had a 2.5" lift installed. My mechanic had a very difficult time adjusting the "camber". I suggested he call the company where I purchased the lift(Rocky Road). My mechanic called me & said they were a_ _holes!! I was surprised at Rocky Road's neglect to offer assistance after I purchased quite an expensive lift. At this point the alignment/camber was so-so.
Problem: Lower ball joint! I have a friend at Dodge who will do the warranty repair on the lower ball joint. He is also ordering newer & upper control arms. He also told me this WILL happen again because of the way the lower or (upper?)control arm angle sits at since the lift. Would Jeepin Al's control arms correct this problem?? Are they upper & lower arms??
PLEASE HELP!!!!! At this point I need to know what to buy to correct this problem. Pictures of the front end would be great if anyone has. Not sure what all this looks like, I'd like to SEE what these people are talkin' about. I'm a cable chick...not a mechanic!! HELP!! :o(

its a sticky at the top of the forum.. it has pictures and there is another thread that I dont see atm that has even more pictures of the front end

Yes, I have seen that thread. Now, what do I do to correct this? Jeepn Al? I hate to purchase the wrong "fix" you know??
