Howdy,

I'm new to this forum. I'm trying to do some research on a lift kit for my stock KJ. It seems that you either spend very little (<$300) for spacers, or spend >$1,000 for new shocks and springs. I typically feel that "you get what you pay for" in terms of quality and reliability over the long haul. Therefore, after doing much research on this forum and other KJ forums, I've decided to bite the bullet and go with a Frankenlift II Premium lift with OME's. The problem is that i cannot seem to find many online sites that I can order a kit from. Obviously, I can go to www.boulderbars.com and pay suggested retail or possibly find a distrubtor/dealer that may offer a discount if I purchase Al's A-Arms at the same time. The only site I found that offers both is www.rocklizardfabrications.com; however, I've emailed them today with no response. So I called (during business hours per their website) and had to leave a message....nobody is available? Are they normally hard to get ahold of? It seems that they are located in CO. I too am located in CO, so I was wondering if I could go and pick up the kit and save on shipping. Has anyone has experience with this online store? \

Thanks in Advance!!

Hello,

The Frakenlift is an awesome product, I've got about 40,000 miles on mine. All J's builds them out of Old Man Emu components among others, that can be purchased at a large variety of retailers. However, they actually took the time to fit the setup to a KJ as well as assembling the front struts. As far as I know (this could have changed) All J's is the only authorized distributor for the OME132L rear shocks. You can also purchase the A-Arms through All J's however, I believe it still gets shipped out by Jeepin by Al.

Now I haven't been on this forum for some time, so I'm not really sure what the status of Rocklizard is at the moment, though the prices seem the same. I'm not sure how the sales between All J's and Rocklizard work, but the lifts on the Rocklizard site are the All J's lift.

All J's is an awesome company, can't go wrong going through them.

Justin

What he said!!!!

I just put the Frankenlift II Premium and Al's UCAs in this past weekend. Both are very nice products and both companies were very polite and willing to answer questions before and after purchase.

I installed a FL II back in 07 and have never needed a different arm than what came with the Jeep.
