Hey! I've been looking at a buying a 2002 KJ here in the UK. The seller claims the Jeep has been lifted but has no idea how/what parts were used (as it was carried out by the previous owner).

Hence this post! I've no idea weather or not it is possible for you guys to identify the method/kit that has been used simply by looking at the pictures but thought it was worth a try asking- as getting a lift kit over here in the UK seems to be a very grey area.

rear coils look to have the same winds as the 2" kit sold by 4wd.com whichever manufacturer that is that they use

jba(skyjacker) and bds and i'm pretty sure ome as well rear coils have noticeably more wraps in addition to thicker wire, however those do look to be quite thick, but I'm not getting one of those telepathic "hey it's XXXXXXX" moments

I would get measurements from the center of the wheel hub to the bottom edge of the flare for comparison to known well built lifts

Apparently the measurement is 51 cm front and back

so 51 CMs is 20.8 inches which means you are about 1 inch to 1.5 inches over stock height ( when new) which since its an 02 ......

That looks like my 4wd.com lift, which uses BDS coils. I would be more confident if I could see the top plate to say for sure. Does it look like the top of the strut is held in place by carriage bolts? If so, then I would think that is the 4wd lift. Mine is noisy as the top plate design sucks....but it rides nice.

I put the rancho struts in on mine, and I have the 4wd includes rear shocks, which are different than what you have. Maybe you just have the BDS springs and different upper bumpstops on front?

Thanks very much for all your help guys, I'm actually now going to keep looking for a better example and somehow get it lifted myself using OEM/Frankenlift... although shipping to the UK is likely to cost as much as the bits and pieces I'm going to be buying!

Try Surrey Off road, they quote me around £ 780.00 for OME lift kit without fitting and 5/6hr to fit at £60.00+VAT an hour to fit it.
Offroad24 quote me over £1000.00 just for the part on OME.

Prices are for a CRD not petrol, might be a bit cheaper if petrol and a bigger option here in the UK.
