Hello,

I offically joined the lifted club yesterday and loved it but now i have some new problems. First as i turn a hard turn it acts as if i have 4 wheel low locked in. And if i put it into a turn it acts like it won't even do it. Next this is i have some very heavily induced vibrations at about 40. I am swapping my tires to day and getting a full alignment to see if that solves my problems. But any other ideas would be greatly appreciated and thank you everyone ahead of time.

Get an alignment before anything else.
I always get one right away and then in a few weeks again after it settles down

Should take care of it, after you lift and before it settles any your tires are pulled in at the top ( a lot) making it feel really hard to drive and steer. You'll be amazed at the difference afterwards ( if they get it done right)

Good luck and of course we need pictures sometime soon!

Oh there will be pictures for sure shortly. Going down the chattoga river tomorrow night so it will probably be monay before i get pictures up. But thank you once again the guy at the shop took one look at my KJ and said he had never seen one lifted before. He seemed to be excited to work on it.

shouldn't be any vibrations, misalignment doesn't cause vibes, particularly at low speed, unless your driving on the edge of the rim :P

It may just be that you're not used to being able to feel your tires roll ;) brand new stiff springs will make you feel all sorts of things that you never felt

Get it aligned, and go from there

if it's subtle micro vibrations it's probably your driveline since the angles on the cv's and dshaft have all changed

You may have lost one of your lead weights for tire balance or you didn't tighten the lugs properly. Definitely get a wheel alignment after 2-4 weeks of installing the lift (as long as you have been driving it regularly and not letting it sit for 2-4 weeks).

The alignment solved everything and when they put the new tires on i had to trim some off the bumper. But now just have alittle rub on the front sway bar and still have some more triming to do after my trip to the moutians. But i am sitting 23 inches from center hub up front and rear. And have already gotten quite a bit of compliments now for my front bumper and new A arms.

Here they are the first pictures while we were at camp waiting to go down the Chattoga.

The trailer and the jeep where fully loaded on the way up there through the moutian I only had the passenger seat open and it had someone in it.

This is right after we all got off the river tired beatin but had so much fun and the full loaded KJ in the back ground ready to go again.

And by the way my Jeep is black but right now she looks gray from the 50+ of dirt roads this weekend.

She is on the way should be dropped off at your nearest grey hound bus station in 2 to 3 days. All you have to do is feed and water and you will have a happy red head in no time and the occasional beer doesn't hurt.
