I got a a very odd clunking sound in my left front wheel well. It happened just after i installed my lift and had it aligned. It does it when i go over a bump or when i put the brakes on. I am going to go back through tomorrow and tighten every bolt i can get to. To make sure nothing has come loose or wasn't tightened all the way after my alignment. I am thinking it is either a tie rod end or the ball joints. Also i have no binding on the a-arms and I lifted it myself. But some more input would be greatly appreciated.

Check the sway bar end link bushings too. Could be that the change in suspension geometry is enough to get them to make some noise now.

What ptsb5a said, I had re tighten mine after lifting, then tighten again after adding the 3/8" spacers over my strut, and nearly every time I get an alignment. Typically I would hear it when I went over speed bumps or could not resist hitting a pot hole in the road. BTW glad to know you got it lifted, we should link up at Gulches sometime, I only have few months left in the South East.

Sounds good to me if not are you coming to ECS Groo2? And i have found my problem it is a tie rod on my passenger side. It is not the end but the inboard connecting side seems to be binding. Does anyone know how to get that boot off to have a look at it with out breaking it. And also are there any specail tools i need to do this?
