Did it come with the 7 pin wiring from the factory? Im only familiar with the gasser, but mine had the blue brake controller wire ran from under the dash back to the hitch from the factory. It was grouped with a bunch of wires behind a cover under drivers side dash. All I had to do then was run power from the battery through the firewall and find the correct wire coming from the brake pedal. Not a real hard install at all.

Yes it came like that from the factory. Yeah i see what you mean about easy install, i got my break controller today and all it has are 4 wires one black which is battery, one blue which is brake, one red which is stop light and one white which is ground.

will go look for the blue wire hidden under dash.

thanks Jeepjeepster

Out of your new Brake Control Unit,
Your brake control wire (blue wire) goes to this:

Your Cold brake light switch wire (red wire) goes to the wire that fires up when you step the brakes by the brake switch.

White is solid ground, should be direct to battery.

Black is fused 12V power. A self reset fuse of at least 20 Amps.

Good luck
Roland

A sincere thanks to our friends at KJ Country- there is alot of useful stuff over there!
