Is this a new kit, or am I just late to the party?

Anybody run this? Looks about the same price as OME stuff but I wonder if this front setup would be any better?

I don't think the front springs are heavy enough for a CRD, but it does seem like a few gassers are running it. It has been discussed before, but I can't remember the weight of the front springs. I think they are rated the same as stock springs, just taller. I would guess that the CRD would have them pounded down pretty quickly.
Jeepin by Al's has the OME kit on sale for 750 if you want to save 50 bucks.

I had this on my KJ, after the ARB and Winch were installed the poor springs just couldnt handle it, I swear when I hit the breaks my engine skid plate would grind on the ground it sagged so much. OME is where its at, the 790s are a god send.

Yep real late to the party
Skyjacker front springs are rated at below OME HDs
plus if you ever have a problem with the struts then you can only use Skyjacker shocks nothing else!
Not even worth looking at...............

by the way
When Skyjacker first came out they made a great system, front springs were rated at 425 lbs. Then they revised them shortly after and went to 310 lb springs, same as stock, and Rustys. So a Skyjacker system under a CRD would be running springs that are rated at 100 lbs less than stock OEM CRDs

You can modify to accept other shocks like Rancho's,I know since I did it.It did have the pre-soft ride coils and they held up my KJ real well even with a ARB and winch, total weight was 5500lbs and only dropped 1/4" with the bumber/winch install and no more over the next 3 years, had a total of 3.75" of lift also from it.Don't know who has my lift now but who ever does has one good lift.
