So I got the full OME lift a couple of months ago so it is time for bigger tires! My jeep has around 57000 miles right now. Should there be any problems with adding bigger tires with the original UCAs? Do you think 245/70/17 will fit without any rubbing or just 245/65/17? Should I go ahead and get new UCAs or can I just wait since there are only 57000 on them? Thanks for any help! Alexis |

As far as UCA's go I would wait til they go bad. Mine made it 60k I'm sure one of the members with chime in and tell you about his CRD that has 500k on it and wheeled all the corners of the earth and still stock. I'm thinking the 245/70/17 is about the same as the 245/75/16 and those will fit with little to no trimming. The other thing that you'll want to keep an eye on is the wheel bearings. |
