Are they easy to install? planning to use the money from selling the SEGR kit and add some to get as set of the Mopar one.

I got mine from my local jeep dealer for $103.xx with tax, which comes with both hooks and hardware. The hardest part is notching the bumper, but even thats pretty easy.

Cool your dealer is alot cheaper than my local dealer. I think I'm getting it from eBay.

How did you cut the bumper cover? looks like yours is a Sport and I have a Limited. my bumper is painted so I am a little nervoius about cutting in to it.

I cut the bumper using tin snips to remove the bulk of material, then removed the rest with a die grinder with a grinding bit, then used a piece of 180 grit sand paper to smooth out the edges.

I'm no expert with trimming painted surfaces, but I would probably apply tape over the area to be cut to prevent paint chipping and flaking.

There are some "pre-grooved" notches in the limited bumper. I just scored those with a razor knife several times, then broke them out. Cut lightly and carefully the first few times, so your lines are precisely where you want them though. I don't think the bumper is actually painted, just color-matched. I didn't have any paint flake when I cut mine, anyway.

It is in fact painted...it better not flake off or you have issues. Easy to cut with a utility knife, just go slow and easy.

It's painted, but the paint is a different formulation than is used on the metal body panels, hence it's REALLY soft (you can scratch the paint with a fingernail... I have). so it won't really "chip" or "flake off" but be really careful about stray tool handles. If you're not currently working with a section, tape it off. I'm convinced that painter's tape is more durable than the paint on the limited bumpers.
