I'm curious what your opinions are.
Should I buy a Frankenlift or put an OME lift together and buy some of Al's a arms with any leftover money?
Planning on putting 245/75/16s on it if that makes any difference with the a arms. Currently at around 51000 miles.

Is this everything needed for an OME lift?
------------------------------
OME
Front:
OME-927 Springs
OME-NS131 Heavy Duty KJ Struts
2 Teraflex bump stops
3 Conduit Nuts per side
3/8" upper plate

Rear:
OME-948 Springs
OME-N132L shocks
Daystar Rear extended Bump Stops
2 Isolators per side
Brake relocation brackets

will need to check on bump stop lengths

All depends on the list you have you will be almost at a Franky height. Ride will be about the same. Don't have to do the UCAs now if you don't want to

Nope not at all,
even though Rustys and RRO sold them for the last 6 or 7 years, no one much used them until the past year or so.
I've had different versions on mine since 05 but....

didnt think so. so in a while when my suspension settled i could add the 3/8" along with the 3 ring clevis that i will be putting on when i put my lift on this weekend and that would basically be the highest i could go right? sorry, still learning things as i go.

Do you need to do the brake relocation bracket with the Frankie? I'm doing my lift tomorrow and I need to know if I need to rush to find something I can use to relocate?

From what I understand. If you have a 2003, then you don't need the relocation brackets. Mine is a 2007 so I do need the relocation brackets.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Nobody told me that I'd need brake relocation bracketry with my 2.5" spacer lift. What's the difference?

Whew, I was worried there. Well, as long as nobody thinks different I guess I'm good then. If need be I guess I'll have to ride my bike to ACE mid-lift and get something that I can modify to work!

Up to 05 don't have to worry about extending the rear brake line bracket, after that you do

By the way if anyone needs some Bilstein shocks for the rear when you are lifting I have a brand new set ready to ship
look in the for sale section

Does anyone think I will tear up anything in the front end if I put HD front springs on it? All I've added as far as extra weight are skid plates. I want to add a brush guard but that's only a possibility and it's in the future. The reason why I'm asking is I had a friend that had an old Chevy pickup that kept tearing up the tie rods and ball joints because of heavier front springs. Someone put 3/4 ton springs on the front of a 1/2 ton though. I haven't seen anyone say anything about this so I thought I'd go ahead and ask. This may be a stupid question but thought I would try to get an answer anyways.

Another question. A Chrysler tech. told me it was against the law to run a "Pinion Index Reset." Anyone know if this is true? I'm in Iowa if that makes a difference and I have a 2007 so it does have the ESP system on it as well as four ABS sensors.

You'll be fine with the 927's.
I'm running the Frankenlift with the HD 927's.
So with your lift with the conduit nuts you'll be about the same height, I don't think anyone has had any issues. If you go too high you will encounter problems, mostly with the CV's.
