Something is wrong with mine...
Shifting weird, RPMS going up and down sporadically, Malfunction Indicator Light came on, guessing that is the trans light.
Hopefully fluid amount issue? Or take it in and have it re-learned?
No codes thrown with key acc-off trick, but i know that is not that dependable.
Fluid level at cold... sitting in the garage at about 50ish with Jeep off for 3+hours, one of the hot openings is full, the one closest to the end of the dipstick.
Do I have too much fluid and that's all that is wrong?

What should I do?

Always check transmission fluid when its warm, running, and on level ground. As for the codes I would def go to advanced auto and see what's been thrown.

...I have a post somewhere on here were mine was doing something similar. Mine was at higher speeds it would kick out of...4th and into 3rd then back up. It was all jacked up. When I took it in I needed a new valve body...I think that is what it was. Apparently there was a defect in the milling or some rott like that. Yellow Coyote I think had the same issue too. They put a transgo shift kit on with stiffer springs and that solved their problem. Do you feel it kick into a different gear?
When mine was acting up I changed my trans fluid and took a look at it. All I had was the usual clutch dust attached to the mag in the corner. All else looked fine. So you could do that and see if there are shavings in the fluid. If so save some of them and the fluid and take it to a shop. My valve body swap and install was at about $1100
If I knew then what I do now, I would have done it myself for about 200-300.

As liquidxit2 said get that code checked out before you do anything. There are engine sensors that can go bad and cause the trans to act up. Example my moms taurus had a DPFE sensor fail in it and at first I thought the trans was on its way out. Was shifting erratically. Mil light came on. RPMs up and down.
